Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This page explains what Home Craft Blog collects, why, and the control you have over it.
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Home Craft Blog (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates https://blog.homecraftblog.com. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Analytics (Umami)
We use Umami, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, to understand which articles are popular. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. The data is fully aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you from it. Because no personal data is processed, this does not require your consent under GDPR.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads.
- With your consent (or where personalized ads are the regional default), you may see ads tailored to your interests.
- Without consent, you will still see ads — just non-personalized ones, based only on the page content and your general location.
We honor Google Consent Mode v2. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, ad personalization is off by default until you opt in. The Google privacy & terms page explains how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can manage ad personalization anytime at Google My Ad Center.
Cookies
The only cookies on this site come from advertising, and only when applicable. We use no analytics or tracking cookies of our own. For a full breakdown, see our Cookie Policy. You can manage your choice anytime through the cookie banner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Because we don’t collect personal data directly, most requests relate to the advertising cookies described above.
- GDPR (EEA/UK): the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time.
- CCPA/CPRA (California): the right to know what is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
