This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to this website only and does not cover any third-party sites we link to. By using Home Craft Blog, you agree to the practices described here. We are a small, ad-supported blog, and we aim to collect as little personal information as possible while keeping the site free to read.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit so we can read and reply. The form is delivered through a third-party form-processing service (Web3Forms), which passes your message to our inbox. If you email us directly, we receive whatever information you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. As on most websites, some technical information is processed automatically when you browse: this can include your approximate location (country or region), browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site that referred you. We use this only in aggregate to understand what content is useful. Our analytics provider, Umami, is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across other sites. When ads are served (see the advertising section below), our advertising partner may collect additional technical information through cookies.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We keep our own use of them to a minimum: we use no analytics or tracking cookies of our own, and Umami sets none. Data retention

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation, after which they are deleted. Aggregated, anonymous analytics may be kept longer because it contains no personal data. We do not retain personal information for longer than we have a genuine reason to.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Because we collect very little, most requests relate to the contact form or the advertising cookies described above.
